As fans of extreme sports probably know, last night was the final night of the 2012 Winter X-Games. The winter edition of the bi-annual event is filled a variety of events based around sports like skiing, snowboarding and snowmobiling. Luckily, many of the races and events were held outside of work hours, meaning that the sports-crazy CursorMania employees could watch it all day long. While it seems like most people in the office prefer to ski, snowboarding and snowmobiling are the two most popular events. This year, one insane snowmobile-er performed the world’s first ever, successfully-landed front flip on a snowmobile. It was super-amazing!! Of course, the big news out of this year’s event was snowboard god Shaun White’s perfect 100 on last night’s SuperPipe event. He had been injured earlier in the weekend and even had to skip the Slopestyle event — but it looks like that extra rest gave him the boost he needed to win his 5th SuperPipe gold medal.
Now that the Winter X-Games are over, it’s time for us to start looking forward to the summer events. In the summer, the sports include BMX biking, skateboarding, Motocross and Rally cars. Amongst the CursorMania crew, we have to say that the Motocross is our favorite event. In fact, we’re so excited that we’ve already changed our computers’ cursors to this motorbike pointer. If you’re looking for a way to celebrate your love of extreme sports, or to just jazz up your computer, visit CursorMania to download thousands of free cursors today!
